The Engineer reports on agritech start-up and Tharsus partner The Small Robot Company’s latest developments. The company’s robot, named Dick, is the world’s first non-chemical robotic weeding system for cereal crops and recently completed its first set of successful field trials. The robot is part of a suite of robotic systems, including crop monitoring robot Tom which was manufactured by Tharsus and launched as a commercial product earlier this year.
